The Carl F. H. Henry Center for Theological Understanding of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL exists to bridge the gap between the church and the academy. In an age when many pastors focus solely on the practice of ministry to the exclusion of rich theology and engagement with Scripture, and many academicians disdain the church and ignore the people of God, the Henry Center seeks to bring the two parties together for mutual enrichment and the exchange of theological wisdom. Toward this end, the Center hosts lectures, conferences, and a variety of events that aim at strengthening the church to the greater glory of God.
